Happy New Year!! Hope you are starting the year off healthy and happy.
This year should be a good one for us. The triplets are 18 months old (15 months adjusted). Two are walking (the third is almost there) and they all are talking. We have transitioned from the newborn/infant physically needy stage to toddlerhood, which is fun to me because I really get to really discover the triplets’ personalities. Because the triplets are now more independent, I have more time to focus on my dream for this blog. As a result, I thought this would be a good time to revisit the purpose of this blog and what I hope I can do to help you readers.
This blog is primarily for moms who are pregnant with triplets, although of course I welcome any moms of multiples at any stage of the journey. It is for moms who have searched high and low for details on what to expect with triplets and come away feeling empty handed. It is for moms who are Type A, who love details and predictability and want to know exactly what life will be like with triplets. My hope is that this blog will help you prepare for your amazing journey with triplets, but also feel empowered and calmed by the fact that you can do this while still staying true to your Type A nature.
One of the frustrations I had with the internet and triplet pregnancy was the lack of organization. I found forums on multiples, I found random blogs, and I found books. But none of them were organized well and none of them delved into details. It was hard for me to find adequate answers to the questions I had. I have been slowly populating the site with answers to my burning questions, and this year I’ll create a master table of contents so that you can quickly get to the topic you want to know about.
I hope this site is helpful to you! I do have a request. I would absolutely love feedback on what you think. I welcome all constructive criticism- I can take it. So if you have a moment, would you send me a comment or write me an email? You can reach me at typeamomofmultiples at gmail dot com (written that way to avoid spam). I want this site to really fill a gap that I felt was missing when I was pregnant. If there is something you want me to discuss, I would love to hear from you. I’d love to get to know more about you. Thanks for reading!
